Welcome to the Music Master List!

I’ve been a music fan all of my life. In the 80s I would listen to Casey Kasem’s Top 40 countdown every Sunday. While in college I became a DJ on the campus radio station and was exposed to an underground music scene that I followed intensely. After graduation I kept up with new sounds via 120 Minutes & Subterranean. And now I have found a myriad of outlets to discover fun, exciting & adventurous new music that goes much deeper than the typical radio fodder.

Enjoy perusing through my lists & links. And, if you feel a great band or tune has escaped my notice, please feel free to let me know & I promise to credit you for the tip.

After growing up on 70s, 80s and 90’s music, I have been completely disillusioned by the crap of the 2000s. I cannot tell you how incredible it is to hear such great songs which don’t include hip/hip. What amazing stuff! I literally owe you my life. Thank you so very much!

        Hi again!

You must really listen to a band called Syntax and the whole album Meccano Mind, if you don’t know about them already. I did not see it in the 2004 list, so.
One of the best albums i have ever heard for my own personal taste.

Here comes a snippet or two from the album.

        Enjoy!
